Art Director & Creative Ops
courtneyvlink@gmail.com
I started my career reproducing museum artifacts. Now I lead creative teams that move fast, think strategically, and make work that connects with people.
strategic vision + hands-on craft
My unconventional path—from museum artifact reproduction to sports marketing to agency studio leadership—taught me that the best creative work happens when you understand both the making and the meaning.
I don’t just art direct or manage teams. I build environments where people do their best work, where AI enhances human creativity rather than replacing it and where every project connects with the audience it’s meant to serve.

2025
How do you deliver multi-partner campaigns in 30 days without burning out your team? Building systems that unlock speed without sacrificing quality.
hockey nights (in toronto)
brand + culture
Designing collectibles that honor 100 years of hockey culture. I pitched new concepts to players and leagues, navigated approval processes, and managed stakeholder feedback.
2019
The tragically hip collection
storytelling under pressure
Creating meaningful memorabilia for a moment the entire country was watching. Every design decision was filtered through the question: "Would someone who loved this band for 30 years want this in their home?"
2017
collage circles
community building
Creating spaces for adults to reconnect with creativity. I needed a creative practice that had nothing to do with productivity, utility, or outcomes. Something that existed purely for the joy of making.

ART
My personal art practice explores themes of identity, evolution, gender norms, and sexuality through the medium of collage. I create layered, visual narratives that reflect the complexities of identity and transformation, inviting viewers to reflect on their own journeys.
